Dr. Ishwar Gopichand is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and has over 22 years of clinical and medical field experience. He attended the College of Science at the University of the Philippines in Dillman, Quezon City, Philippines where he earned his Bachelor Science degree. He then continued his learning at the College of Medicine at the University of the Philippines where earned his Doctorate of Medicine. He has provided several lectures for the Cleveland Clinic Foundation research in pediatrics throughout the nation. He has presented lectures at the Infectious Disease Society of America in San Francisco, California and at the Midwest Society for Pediatric Research in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Gopichand is active in ongoing research endeavors and has conducted research in Burkitt’s lymphoma, and Bone Marrow Transplantation in Children. Dr. Gopichand serves as a physician member for the Onslow County Board of Health. He is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Medicine. He is a fluent speaker of the Filipino and Sindhi languages. Dr. Gopichand’s personal interest includes jazz and pop music, and souvenir collecting.
Dr. Alex Tse has over 35 years of extensive pediatric clinical experience and in-depth interest in allergy and immunology. Dr. Tse attended the University of Hong Kong and completed his Pediatric residency training at the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Tse received an academic appointment as a clinical instructor for the Department of Pediatrics, New Jersey College of Medicine in Newark, New Jersey. Dr. Tse has chaired and been a member of numerous committees for the Onslow Memorial Hospital; the Quality Assurance Committee, the Infection Control Committee, the ICU/CCU committee, and the Executive Committee of the Medical Staff of Onslow Memorial Hospital just to name a few. He is Board Certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics and a member of the American College of Allergists. Dr. Tse is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Medicine.
Dr. Mittal graduated from All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. He completed his Pediatric Residency there and also at St. Lukes / Roosevelet Hospital Ctr in New York. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center in 1997. He is Board Certified in General Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. He has been on the medical staff at the clinic and at Onslow Memorial hospital since 1997.
He serves as the Medical Director for Neonatal Services at Onslow Memorial Hospital and as the President and CEO of Jacksonville Children’s and Multispecialty Clinic.
Charlotte Weitz attended Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine located in Augusta, Georgia where she received her degree as a Physician Assistant. Charlotte specializes in Pediatrics and has over 11 years of clinical experience. She has been a member of the Jacksonville Children’s and Multispecialty Clinic, P.A. since 2005. Charlotte previously worked at Kids-Med, LLC, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Medicine as Physician Assistant.
Kelly Durham has over 20 years of clinical experience as a Physician Assistant. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She then attended Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest where she received her Physician Assistant degree. Kelly has been a member of the Jacksonville Children’s and Multispecialty Clinic, P.A. since 1992. She specializes in primary care for pediatrics and is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Medicine. Kelly is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the NC Academy of Physician Assistants.
Dr. Arnold Olegario is a Board Certified Pediatrician with over 35 years of pediatric experience. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology at Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Philippines and then earned his Medical Degree at Cebu Institute of Medicine in Cebu City, Philippines. He completed his post graduate internship at Silliman University Medical Center located in Dumaguet City, Philippines. Dr. Olegario completed his pediatric residency at the King’s County Hospital Center located in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Olegario has been affiliated with the Arden Hill Hospital (Orange Regional Medical Center located in Goshen, New York and Saint Anthony Community Hospital located in Warwick, New York. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and currently serves as the Chairman for the Department of Pediatrics for the Onslow Memorial Hospital located in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Mary Bundle received her Master of Health Sciences from Lock Haven University in Lock Haven Pennsylvania. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board. Mary is a member of American Academy of Physician Assistants and the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. Mary has practiced in the Richlands area for the past 10years and she provides services for adult and pediatric patients. Ms. Bundle is committed to continuing to provide quality care and improving the lives of her patients.
Kim Lewis graduated cum laude with a BS in Biology from the University of NC at Wilmington. She then attended the Physician Assistant program at The George Washington University where she earned her masters degree and was recognized as the most outstanding student in her class. She began her career as a hospitalist and part of a trauma/general surgery team and one year later transitioned to pediatrics. Since then, she has devoted her career to serving the children and families of Onslow County. She has 15 years of clinical pediatrics experience and is licensed by the NC Medical Board. Kim, her husband and three children reside in Jacksonville. They enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, skiing and just about any activity outdoors!
Dr. Skaskiw grew up in New York and undergraduate degree as a double major in Biology and Psychology at State University of New York in Oswego NY. She attended medical school at the American University of the Caribbean at St. Marten and completed her Pediatric Residency training at St. John Hospital in Detroit Michigan. Dr. Skaskiw has worked as a General Pediatrician in the Carolinas for over ten years. She is board certified and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics for over 10 years. Dr. Skaskiw lives in Jacksonville with her husband and two children and enjoys nature, gardening and swimming.
Erika Wittler graduated cum laude with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in 2009. Shortly after she commissioned in the United States Navy Nurse Corps and competed one tour in Afghanistan while on active duty. Erika spent the majority of her RN career as a Certified Emergency Nurse and has worked in multiple level one trauma centers along the southeast coast. In 2016 she graduated from Georgetown University with her Masters of Science in Nursing as a FNP and is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Erika lives in Hubert with her active duty husband and daughter. They enjoy boating, fishing, hiking and biking in their free time as well as occasional skiing trip back to Erika’s home state of Colorado whenever they get the chance.
Katie Alwes is a Family Nurse Practitioner certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She enjoys providing comprehensive, quality care for both pediatric and adult patients in the Sneads Ferry office. Her clinical areas of interest include women’s health, geriatrics, management of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, and acute illnesses. Katie graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Radford University in 2008 and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2017. Katie has clinical experience in a variety of healthcare settings including the emergency department, critical care, home health, hospice, and primary care settings. Katie lives in Jacksonville with her husband and two children and enjoys spending her spare time at the beach, camping, hiking, and traveling.
Dr. Nicole E. Aristy is a Board Certified Pediatrician with 10 years of experience. She obtained her medical degree at Universidad Iberoamericana in the Dominican Republic. She graduated with Magna Cum Laude. She then completed a Pediatrics Residency at East Carolina University. Dr. Aristy has worked in the Wilmington area since 2011 and has provided compassionate care to many families. She has a special interest in preventive care, parenting concerns and discipline. She lives with her husband and 3 boys.
